Snow Flake Door Hanger

Hello Everyone,

Today, I would love to share with you a door hanger that I made for my Holiday gift giving gifts this year.  Lots of glitter, sparkle, and of course love went into making these.
Truly just a simple project. The most time spent was on all the cones made from an old book that I got from a thrift store years ago. I got this idea from Pinterest, and knew that Gina's Chip Board Snowflakes would fit perfectly!

I love anything with writing on it. I'm always on the hunt for old vintage papers to work into my crafts.
After stapling and gluing all the paper cones together, I made the yoyo out of calico material to have the winter frosty blue color.
I then painted the snowflake that I received from Gina's Designs, then immediately sprinkled golden glitter all over the snowflake so it would stick before the paint dried.
The letter was done the same way, but with a more finer soft glitter that I got at my local craft store.
Thank you for stopping by and taking a peek.
May everyone have a Blessed Holiday.

Just wanted to post my class for next month's Prima Doll Tags. This month we will be working on May, and celebrating Mom for Mother's day by using Graphic 45's Place In Time. I never get tired of this line!

The colors are beautiful shades of Navy Blue, and Lilac.
All that's needed brought to the class in addition to your basics, is
Copic Markers...E74, and E79
Distressed Ink - Stormy Sky
Perfect Pearls Mist - Interference Red.
A craft mat, and paper towels.
All papers that you see in Photos will be provided in Class.
Look forward to seeing you all again, as I missed us getting together this past month!
I pray everyone is enjoying their Holiday Season.

Christmas Memories Mini Book

Hello Everyone!

Veronica here, sharing a new Christmas Project from Gina's Designs.  It was from her Mini Ginger Bread Chipboard album. I think it came out adorable.

Such a cozy front door!

I didn't use any of the Ginger Bread pieces, as I wanted it to be just a Christmas Album.

The paper used is from Lori Whitlock's Reflections Christmas.
I like how there's a Fruit Cake recipe on the page.

The roof edge, and the picket fence I brushed gesso on, then added the snow effect with a snow pen, and finished it off with frosted stickles.
Love, love, love, how it really looks like snow has just blown onto my book!

May everyone have a Blessed Holiday, time with those you love, and hold dear to your heart.

Vintage Camera

Hello Everyone!

Veronica here again, to share my Vintage Camera project from Gina's Designs. I used from her Mini Display Tray set, the camera shape, because the camera has been such a big part of my life!
I've had a camera in my hands since I was a little girl, and always carry one along with me wherever I go!

Again, I have an old Vintage touch to it. I used an old piece of film that I have kept for years from back when I worked in a Portrait Studio, and we had to change the film and send it in to get developed.  Back before the digital age, and I'm not ashamed to say I miss it!
I added bits of this and that....finds from Antique shops, or rummage sale hunts.
I papered the back with an old scrapbook page that had all these old Vintage Portraits throughout. I then took an old Vintage Photo that I got at an Antique store, of this little boy. I cut him out to shape,
and brought him to the front.
Added some old lace to finish the over all Vintage look.
Thank you for taking a look.
I enjoyed this project a lot, because it was filled with a lot of things I love

Inspire Box

Hello Everyone!
Veronica here, with a fun project that I made at one of our CYI classes at For Keepsakes.
Our Project was to alter an old Cricket cartridge box, and I am so happy with how mine turned out!

Using Die Cuts from Gina's Designs.....and I'm excited to say this is my first post as being on her design team...I used Dies from her Steampunk shape set #2, and  I also used one of her die cut words "Inspire".
We all could use a little Inspiration from time to time right?
I papered the box with Graphic 45's Ty.pog.ra.phy.  I have always loved Graphic 45, and use it a lot!
I'm also always on the hunt for anything Vintage or old. I picked up these little word blocks at a garage sale this past September. I think they might have belong to an old board game at one time.
Gina's Gear and Key add a nice touch to the little book I made to go in side the box, all tied with just a simple twine.
I hope you enjoyed taking a look at my first project for Gina's Designs. I am excited to be a part of her team, and have felt so very welcomed by Gina and the rest of the team!

25 Days Of Christmas!

Hey Everyone,

I had such a wonderful time again last night with all the ladies at the Savvy Stamp Class! So many great ideas shared......we all got to practice on the "Bunny Ear Bows".  I think we all have mastered the art of making beautiful bows now!
Next month is going to be fun too, with the Vintage "Fragile" and Christmas Train Stamps. I'm excited to share these cards.

I want to show you one of my first class that is scheduled in November, I'm super exited about this one, and know you will be too!

25 Days of Christmas Cookie Sheet Advent Calendar! Too cute!! I was asked if I wanted to make one for class. I've never heard of one before, so I just dived in. I really enjoyed going through my stash of creative goodies and just little bits of this and that from years gone by.
Bring your own ephemera along with you to class to create a lovely display of Christmas memories that is unique to you!
I will be using Gina's Designs to finish the project. Like The letters and numbers. Even snowflakes and the snowman, and other pieces will be supplied in class.
No two Cookie sheets will be alike!
So, go through your jewelry boxes. Bring pieces of old lace, bits of toys, Christmas ornaments, anything that brings up your fondest memories, and lets have fun!
I'm excited to see how everyone's turns out at the end of the class.
Friday November 8th. Check out For Keepsakes Website for more info.
Hope to see you there!
Hugs!

Love, Love, Love this time of year!!

Hello Everyone!

Just wanted to share a fall project that I completed for our CYI class last Tuesday at For Keepsakes.  Small, and cute, just a perfect start to the fall season!.
From Gina's Deigns....a small wall hanger with dye cuts from her store, the scarecrow and pumpkin with the corn stalk ad just the right touch. I added dried flowers from one of my many Autumn decorations in my home....I'm finding it hard to come across dry cut flowers, so I hang on to all that I have! I also added a saying from Graphic 45's October calendar from A Place in Time, and
put the hanger onto one of my porch decorations for Fall. I love how the beautiful colors of Autumn always come together!
Keep checking my blog as I will soon be sharing more Projects from Gina's Designs. She has excepted me on her Design team...and I am so exited, nervous, anxious...crazy! Gina called me a squirrel the other day....I'm all over the place!
