"Proud"

  I love anything Vintage.
I just recently finished a layout using Lazer cut chipboard pieces from Gina's Designs!
  See the lovely Scrapbook page!
I love to layer, and Gina's Designs  gives you so much too choose!
Here I used a variety of pieces.
I love how adding a simple Doily adds a touch of femininity to a layout.

The Skeleton Clock also adds a touch of Nostalgia.

Thank you so much for taking a look. I hope all enjoyed this Layout as much as I enjoyed putting it all together.

Welcome Everyone! Thanks for joining me today in sharing a project I completed for a cross-promo with
 Kittys Scrap Post!
Her digital images are beautiful and easy to work with. I chose the "Time Traveler" to decorate an old clipboard that I found at a yard sale for just 25 cents!

Gina's Eiffel Tower in the Parisian Shape Set, and the plane in the High Fliers Shape Set
set the whole "Time Traveler" theme.
With some embellishments, and antique ribbon from my stash you can just image the tales this old collage has to tell from travels past.

She Stood In The Storm: Altered Canvas

I wanted to share an Altered Canvas that I made for a friend of mine. She just recently over came a battle with breast cancer, and I wanted to show her my support through a mixed media canvas.
Gina's Designs  has so many wonderful choices in Lazer cuts, that it truly is what helped inspire to create this Altered Canvas gift!
I love having all my medias at reach any time I work on a project.  I just go at the canvas with how I'm feeling at that moment, and with so many chipboard shapes to choose from Gina's Designs, I find myself immersed into a Mixed Media Heaven!
All the extra medias used and pretty embellishments added to give the over all finished look, I can easily find at my local Scrapbook store.. For Keeps Sakes Paper Arts & Rubber Stamps.
There you will find many of the Prima Doll stamps by Julie Nutting. I really enjoy working with these stamps!
Thank you so much for stopping by!
And have a Blessed Day!

China Cabinet: Light House Display

Today I want to share an amazing  piece from Gina's Designs.
 The China Cabinet.
I have never been to the ocean, but ever since I was a little girl I have loved Light Houses, and the strength and beauty they bring. So with this project, I wanted to have a way to display some of my collection of Light Houses.
This Adorable China Cabinet has endless possibilities for you to create! The front doors open, and all three bottom draws open as well for you to store your craft goodies in!
To keep with the Nautical theme, Gina's Beach Shape Set is a perfect fit! I have to admit while working on this project, I got the sudden cravings for Lobster!

Gina's Desk Organizer

Hi everyone! Today I want to show off Gina's Desk Organizer.
Now I have seen this decorated many different ways, and I chose to only decorate the outside of the organizer, keeping the inside the beautiful dark wood color.
I also am using this to store some of my paint brushes instead of just pens or things needed at a desk.
Kaiser Crafts 75cents Collection is one of my favorites paper line that they brought out, and I think it was perfect for Gina's Desk Organizer.
Here you can see some Doily Intricates. I just love them!

Thank you all for stopping by, and have a Blessed Day!

Happines ....Altered Canvas

I would like to share an Altered Canvas with you today.
My Mother loved this one, and she can be hard to please....so her liking it made it all worth it!
This Canvas I started on last September, but wasn't sure where to take it from here. So I stepped away.....for like 8 months!
Gina's Designs and Laser Cuts are truly an inspiration for me to complete a project!

Here you see her Laser Cuts come in so many shapes and I just love anything with a Paris theme.
Her Parisian Shape Set  is ideal, but I special ordered the Eiffel Tower from Gina to fit my canvas.

Love the added touch of the  Hot Air Balloon
This perticular one is the Net Style.

And one can never have too many of Gina's Dolies on hand!

Hope you enjoyed this altered canvas as much as my Mother and I did.
 Thanks for stopping by.

Altered Frame....Great Grandma & Grandma

It all started with a simple frame. Pasted pieces from and old book and Gesso!
I enjoyed working with Gina's Laser Cuts for this project....again...they just complete the whole look!

There's so many Laser cuts used for this project, I hate that I can only show a few close ups!
I had this frame all Gesso and ready for something over a year ago, but didn't have a clue where to go after that!  With all the Estate sales I have been visiting this week.....I just had to bring it back out and do something with my Grandma's in mind.
Gina's Doodled Cages is perfect for this, my Grandma loved birds.
One can never have too many of her Wooden Decorative Keys!

I adore Gina's Dress Forms!

Thanks again for stopping by! Have a Blessed Day!

Her Butterfly Of Gears. Just adds a creative feel to the banner's theme.

Here I added one of Gina's String Alongs this one is" Sewing", and of course I couldn't finish without one of Gina's wonderful Flourishes Miniatures!

Pawprints On My Heart

Hello everyone. Today I want to show off another fun and truly simple project from Gina's Designs.
The Photo Reel brings me back to when I was a little girl, and my first love of picture taking began.
These are now coming back into the art world, and I have to admit I still have mine in my parents attic somewhere packed away. That will be a treasure hunt adventure to find!
I chose to work with the Page Frame Photo Reel. I wanted to make a wall hanging to display my love of black cats. The Photo Reel comes in three other sizes, standard, small and miniature.
"Pawprints on my heart", you can find in Gina's Words & Phrases.
Not much to complete this project....gotta love simple!
I just cover the Photo Reel with a thin layer of White Acrylic paint, and then inked the edges and the Pawprint phrase with Archival Ink's Jet Black.
I then sprinkled with black glitter.
Love the simple way I can display all my Black Kitty photos.

Victorian Key - "She"

Hello Everyone!
Today I have this Beautiful Victorian Wall Art Heart Key to show you new from Gina's Designs.
I just love the Victorian Era! I used different pieces that I've collected over the years, to complete this project, and the flower embellishments where given to me as a gift. I love how different little things makes up a whole finished look.

Here you can see Gina's Flourishes. These work so well for layouts and tags, and they helped add a vintage touch to this project.
I also had to add a letter "V" from a old Scrabble Board Game...another Vintage Salvage.. Yard Sale find. It's funny how these are now so sought after.

"She" is beautiful.

Garden Fairies and Vintage Sparkle Glitter!

Spring...oh please stay awhile! Today I would like to share a Garden Fairies Bird House. It got me in the mood to be out in my own garden, if the weather would just be nice!
Timi, one of the Co-Owners at For Keeps Sakes had asked me to make a sample for the store. I was asked to show off some GLITTER!  It is a new product we sell called Vintage Sparkle Glitter, and the first thing that came to my mind was the Garden Fairies from Gina's Designs!
I mean what a better combination? Fairies and Glitter!
I was also able to easily use these beautiful butterflies from Craftsupplies1
Gina's Designs really made the project! Her Garden Fairies are a must to have for any garden mystical project you may under take.
A beautiful butterfly  from Craftsupplies1

Art Journal: The Lost Art Of Love Letters

Hello Again!
Today I'm sharing a Mixed Media Art Journal page that I recently worked on. I'm excited to show how Gina's Chipboard Shapes truly made the page jump out!
I am just getting back into painting. I have always been hard on myself at how the over all look comes out when completed, but I am finding a new enriched enjoyment to this type of art, and now I can hardly put down the brush...,brayer, sponge... stencil....whatever I can get my hands on to create a unique look, that's shouts ME!
I used this Lock and Key from Gina's Valentine Shape Set.   Just applied some Gesso to the over all surface and inked with Vintage Photo Distressed Ink.
Here's a Flourish from her Feathery Flourish Shape Set, and the hearts are again used from the
Valentine Shape Set
Again, I just Gesso everything, then applied the desired inks and paints to get my desired look
Thank you for visiting. I hope you enjoyed viewing this project as much as it was a joy to create it.
