Masquerade Ball!

Welcome Friends! I am so pleased to share with you today another lovely project created from Gina's Designs. From her Mask Shapes Set, I just loved decorating one of her Mask Designs. It truly reminded me of an old Masquerade Ball as I was decorating it. I was humming different waltz  tunes in my head the whole time.

A very simple project...all that's needed is lace and feathers!

And pretty flower embellishments and Self-Adhesive Pearls from Prima.
I covered the mask first with some Prima's Lyric Collection paper. Very lovely black lace design.
Added some lace from my collection.....never can have too much lace!
Got a the stick from and old American Flag used for the Fourth of July, and inked it black to create that Victorian era feel for a Masquerade Mask.   Shall we Dance?

Thank you so much for taking a look!
   Blessings to you and Yours!

Fashion Forward Altered Frame

Welcome February! Its hard to believe that the first month of 2014 is now behind us!
Nothing better than marching right into a new month with projects in mind!
And here is another project inspired by Gina's Designs

Today I want to share one of my favorites with you. I actually had my first class ever on this Altered Frame! I titled it Fashion Forward because I felt it showed a look into the future of design. I enjoyed using Gina's Dress Form from one of her Dress Form Shape Sets
Love the hooped skirt Dress Form Shape. Gives the era of the Victorian Age!
A pasted a old torn piece of pattern paper to ad to the over all "Fashion Theme"
Look at the young Fashion Diva!  She's not afraid to go forward! I just enjoyed adding all the embellishments to complete the over all look. Laced ribbon and buttons....makes me want to go to my sewing machine!
Hope you enjoyed looking at my altered frame...this one is truly one of my favorites, and was excited to share!
Blessings to you and you and yours

Savvy Stampers Club

I am so very excited about our up coming Savvy Stampers class at For Keep Sakes.
We have several New Members who are joining this January. What a nice way to start the new year?
This Tuesday we will be making three lovely cards from  the Crafty Individuals stamps. I love the Vintage feel to these, and was very pleased at how they turned out. And I must not be the only one, because several of the ladies who are new to the group joined because they liked these three cards' design.
So, looking forwarded to seeing everyone this coming Tuesday! Hugs!

Happy New Year Perpetual Calendar

Hello Everyone,!
Veronica, here again to share my first project for Gina's 2014 design team.

I'm excited to show off this fun project. I fell in love with it from the moment I first saw it, but was waiting for just the right paper. I found the perfect match, and just in time for the New Year!
I used Bo Bunny's The Avenues. I love the Victorian feel that it has, with it's mix of old fashioned clocks, and old screened and wooden framed doors and shutters. I was watching Alfred Hitchcock's old classic Black & White film, Gas Light while working on this project, and it really got me inspired for the Old Victorian London! This Perpetual Calendar has that feel to it, and I hope you enjoy taking a look, as much as I enjoyed working on it.

Gina's Bird Cage went perfect with this paper line. All I did was Gesso the cage, then sprayed with Perfect Pearls, and Radiant Rain mists to give it an antique feel. I added the wooden spools to give the Calendar  pedestals to stand on.
The Whole Calendar was mainly done in the Bo Bunny paper, all but the inside, which I then again used Gesso, crackle paint, and the same colors of mist and inks to give it that over all aged look to it.

I love the clocks on this paper! Really goes well for a Calendar theme, as you track your days.
Thank you so much for taking a look, and I pray that the year 2014, has nothing but Blessings for you and yours.

Snow Flake Door Hanger

Hello Everyone,

Today, I would love to share with you a door hanger that I made for my Holiday gift giving gifts this year.  Lots of glitter, sparkle, and of course love went into making these.
Truly just a simple project. The most time spent was on all the cones made from an old book that I got from a thrift store years ago. I got this idea from Pinterest, and knew that Gina's Chip Board Snowflakes would fit perfectly!

I love anything with writing on it. I'm always on the hunt for old vintage papers to work into my crafts.
After stapling and gluing all the paper cones together, I made the yoyo out of calico material to have the winter frosty blue color.
I then painted the snowflake that I received from Gina's Designs, then immediately sprinkled golden glitter all over the snowflake so it would stick before the paint dried.
The letter was done the same way, but with a more finer soft glitter that I got at my local craft store.
Thank you for stopping by and taking a peek.
May everyone have a Blessed Holiday.

Christmas Memories Mini Book

Hello Everyone!

Veronica here, sharing a new Christmas Project from Gina's Designs.  It was from her Mini Ginger Bread Chipboard album. I think it came out adorable.

Such a cozy front door!

I didn't use any of the Ginger Bread pieces, as I wanted it to be just a Christmas Album.

The paper used is from Lori Whitlock's Reflections Christmas.
I like how there's a Fruit Cake recipe on the page.

The roof edge, and the picket fence I brushed gesso on, then added the snow effect with a snow pen, and finished it off with frosted stickles.
Love, love, love, how it really looks like snow has just blown onto my book!

May everyone have a Blessed Holiday, time with those you love, and hold dear to your heart.
